IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's a doozy. This new box set features Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks decked out in full heavy metal regalia as the band Cold Slither.
The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set is based on a classic episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and will be one of Hasbro's exclusive items at San Diego Comic-Con this summer. Check out the slideshow gallery below for a closer look at this incredible set:
The Cold Slither set includes 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all decked out for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. The set comes with no fewer than 29 accessories, including various musical instruments like a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set. Even the packaging is designed to recreate the Springfield Theater.
This box set will be sold exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 24-27, 2025. As with all Hasbro exclusives, limited quantities will be made available on the Hasbro Pulse website after the show.
For those that prefer a more retro approach to G.I. Joe figures, Hasbro is also teaming with Super7 to bring Cold Slither Zartan to Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure is modeled after the classic A Real American Hero toys, complete with O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging. The figure glows in the dark when exposed to UV light and comes with microphone and guitar accessories.
The Cold Slither Zartan ReAction+ figure is priced at $20 and will be available for preorder on the Super7 website beginning on April 3 and 9:15am PT.
Hasbro is really leaning into the musical theme by releasing an actual Cold Slither album. The company is teaming with Reigning Phoenix Music to bring the band to life. Here's the official description of the Cold Slither album:
