Enough is enough.  To a certain extent, I do not mind when comic movies change some things to make characters fit better.  But what was done with the F4 and Dr. Doom is just garbage.  I'm not seeing it and I hope enough people do the same so the studios will realize you can't just completely butcher a comic property and expect great results.  You have to stay somewhat true to the comic otherwise you have completely lost the essence of the property.  This F4 movie is the kind of junk that comic movies used to be.  We have definitely moved beyond this kind of stuff.

I wouldn't worry beach. The movie tanked this weekend. It earned only $26M, the lowest opening of a Marvel movie since Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Seems bad word of mouth kept most away, plus I think Marvel has been waaay too quick on re-boots. First Spidey, now FF.

Oddly enough, FF was the second Marvel movie that I skipped seeing at the theatre. Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance was the first. FF looked like a dud before it came out and reviews confirm that it is an utter garbage fire. (of course I'll still watch it when it hits Redbox)

You're not alone.  This movie has tanked big time.  Hopefully bad enough that Marvel can get the rights back and make a proper FF movie down the road.  It's criminal that the premier villain in Marvel is wasted on a crummy studio like Fox.  The Fantastic Four have some of the greatest characters under their umbrella in the entire Marvel Universe.  Please Fox sell the rights back ASAP.

And nope, I don't even want to see this on Red Box.

A picture is worth a thousand words.  But being there is worth a thousand pictures!   puckace
