Waiting to get into Hasbro… outside in the freezing cold…
The glamorous life of a Toy Reporter!

Randy here… or should I say back in the New York Groove!

It’s been ten years since I’ve been to the American International Toy Fair in New York City… and a lot has changed. In the industry, in collecting, and in my own life.
Since I moved back to the East Coast and had some time to spare (and a little extra money to make the trip-thank you, Mimi!), I figured I should make a shot at going in person. Plus, getting to spend some quality time with Toygodd (he misses me so)! So, at the last minute, I hopped a train and headed out!

This was a whirlwind trip that had me in the Big Apple for less than 24 hrs! But I would not be defeated-even by record FREEZING temperatures in the city.(Check out me bundled up, waiting to get into Hasbro!)  So, between Javitts Center and Hasbro’s Times Center, I tried to get a much as possible.

We’ve had some technical issues recently on the site that delayed posting, but everything should be set to post my pics.

So thanks for waiting.
Here they come…
