CBS Consumer Products Signs New Licensees for Star Trek.
CBS Consumer Products has signed a new slate of licensees for the Star Trek brand. New products will hit retail shelves worldwide throughout next year. Underground Toys will offer a talking bottle opener; floating and projection pens; mini key ring torches; tinned mints filled with hard candies; alarm, wall, and 3-D clocks; and adult and limited-edition watches. Mimoco will release a series of Star Trek USB drives with up to 64 GBs of digital data storage and preloaded Star Trek content. QMx will introduce new ship replicas, prop replicas, set props, iPhone chargers, stickers, plush, and lithograph posters. Eugene Textiles will manufacture Star Trek fabrics for the U.S. market. Jumpin Jammerz will release three different styles of Star Trek adult footed pajamas for fans in the U.S. and Canada. Robe Factory will expand to include Star Trek: The Original Series socks, underwear, and two-piece cotton pajamas. Star Trek: The Next Generation two-piece cotton pajamas are also in development. Mayfair Games has created a co-branded Star Trek and Settlers of Catan board game in English. It is available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
