NYCC 2012 CAPTAIN ACTION – NEW DC LICENSE, ALSO MARVEL’S IRON MAN , WOLVERINE

Written by on October 12, 2012 in Collector's Corner - 6 Comments

Now to me, Umpire, this is huge news. Captain Action has gotten ahold of the DC license and as shown on these photos shot by Toygodd at the New York Comic Con, we can see mock ups of the Batman and Superman costume sets. Be still, my beating heart! Also, as shown in these photos is the Iron Man (which is tops on my want list as well as Wolverine.) Captain Action once more brings out the kid in this adult collector. Hopefully I’ll be able to review these new sets as soon as they become available. Keep an eye out for that!

Captain Action made an announcement today. They have a deal with DC and will be coming out with Superman and Batman next year! This company makes great product. Check them out.

Thanks for reading!

I gotta tell you, these look absolutely great! Superman and Iron Man alone are enough to get me back into Captain Action. (Just what I need, ANOTHER line to collect. My wife will hit me with a skillet. But these look really, really great! Just look at that Clark Kent face! WOW!)

I’m assuming that the Superman, Batman, Ironman and Wolverine packages are only print mock ups rather than true product, correct? Don’t think DC/Warners would be too happy about having a BAF for an Avenger included with their own Son of Krypton or Dark Knight. :)

The DC sets do look great! Bats is a must but I may have to pick up Supes too, especially with the CK head included. Any idea if the DC sets will have deluxe versions as well as regular, similar to Marvel’s choices?

Excited about these, but will take a wait and see stance, The Steve Rogers head on the CA figure was way too big for the body and looked awkward, Hopefully they will have corrected that problem by the time these come out!
